The “Roxbury” gown is a dramatic evening gown made in liquid metallic jersey stretch material. It features full bishop sleeves with two buttons at wrist, cut out detail on each side and a deep V.

The skirt portion features a flattering basque waist detail and a side zipper. We can just imagine this worn by a starlet from the golden age of Hollywood wearing this unique gown at a soiree or movie premiere. 

This design is based on one from 1945 by Jay Thorpe. The original is part of the collection of Met Museum. We changed the original design to add bishop sleeves. The original design was accompanied by a turban of the same material. Add one of your own for a touch more Old Hollywood Glamour.
